Corto Prisión
For many years, ALCINE has been bringing short films to schools and institutes for educational purposes, with activities such as Idiomas en corto, El cine y los jóvenes and ALCINE Kids. Convinced, firstly, that short films are of interest to the most diverse audiences and, secondly, that they can be of great use in bringing certain topics closer to children and young people, they can be used for debate, participation and, why not, to broaden the minds and points of view of the youngest. Finally, it can be the gateway to the language of film and the audiovisual world, democratized at last and within everyone's reach with domestic means.
With this same philosophy, ALCINE 52 approaches the penitentiary center of Alcalá de Henares, bringing short films that because of their subject matter and values can be of special interest in a space that is always complex, ignored and, perhaps, too far away from society.
On Thursday November 16 and Friday November 17, films such as Loop, by Pablo Polledri, Casablanca para volver, by Pedro Sara; Desguace, by David Orea Arribas, Me llaman Chino, by Jesús Rivera or Todo incluido by Duván Duque Vargas will be screened.
