Ana drives endlessly between obligations, crossing a city she never quite reaches. Her car becomes a moving refuge, a private space where reality appears fragmented in still images. In this suspended journey, the unseen surfaces: a quiet desire to break free from routine.
Lucía Romero Castillo (Barcelona, 1999) is a filmmaker, researcher, and cultural worker.
She graduated in Cinematography from the ESCAC on a scholarship and later specialised in Film Studies and Visual Cultures at the University of Barcelona (UB). Her work explores the relationship between politics and intimacy through performative non-fiction, archival practices, and a critique of the extractivist logics of culture. She has collaborated with institutions including the Centre d'Arts Santa Mònica, Drac Màgic, and Lleialtat Santsenca.
In 2026, she premieres 'Llámame, llévame, avísame', her first short film, produced by the CCCB as part of the Sinfonías de ciudad programme.
