EUROPEAN SHORT FILM CONTEST

Once again, ALCINE offers a carefully curated selection for the most discerning audiences eager to discover the present landscape of short filmmaking. Its international section features 24 short films from across Europe —from France to Hungary— with a balanced mix of fiction, animation, and documentary. Several of the works have been screened at festivals such as Cannes, Berlin, and San Sebastián, including A solidão dos lagartos by Inês Nunes, recent winner at San Sebastián. All are grouped under evocative titles like Lost Objects of Love, The Mission, or Put Yourself in My Place, and are screened at the Corral de Comedias.
