For decades, ALCINE has maintained a close relationship with comics, as reflected in series such as “24 Frames per Second” (ALCINE 36), which is celebrating its 20th anniversary and is making a comeback with a tour across half the world thanks to the Instituto Cervantes. Thanks to the Chair of Comic Book Research and Culture at the University of Alcalá, this year we will once again host its academic symposium on film and comics, as well as participate in the LIFT conference, which brings together the technicians who transform Alcalá de Henares into the setting for *The Walking Dead*. In addition, the festival will present the exhibition *Bringing Up Father: From Comic Strip to Screen* and, as part of ALCINE Talks, an AMAE discussion on *Robot Dreams*, held as part of the 2nd International Congress of the SAEC.
