On edge (Fleurs de peau) is the result of seven adolescents with motor or sensory disabilities reflecting on how they inhabit and experience their bodies. Drawing on their own experiences and expressions such as "having a broken heart" or "head in the clouds," the young people share their thoughts with emotion and sincerity.
Lisa Chabbert is a French filmmaker and photographer from the Tarn-et-Garonne department. She studied film and imaging techniques at the École Supérieure Audiovisuelle de Toulouse and is the co-founder of the collective Ciné 2000, which focuses on experimental and collaborative filmmaking.
Her work is known for its raw and sensitive aesthetic, exploring the intersection between living and filming. Notable projects include the short film Montpalach (2008), the medium-length film J-? (2011), and the short film L’invitée familière (2013). In 2014, she presented the photography exhibition Les Vieux, an immersive project in a senior residence. More recently, she directed the documentary Fleurs de peau (2024), in collaboration with Pauline Lebellenger and Juliette Millet, which addresses migration and coexistence from a collective, participatory perspective.
