Registration is now open for ALCINE Education

From October 28th to December 12th, one of ALCINE's most notable sections, the Alcalá de Henares/Community of Madrid Film Festival, returns for another year: ALCINE Education, with its three sections: "Languages," "Youth," and "Kids," attracting more than 8,000 viewers last year. From primary to high school, without forgetting language students, ALCINE fosters talent while simultaneously leveraging the pedagogical power of film.

The screenings will take place at the Salón Cervantes Theater and are free of charge, but registration is required before October 11th, using the corresponding online form. Sign up now!

ALCINE Languages

The section, featuring short films in English, French, and German, with subtitles in their own languages, is aimed at foreign language students in secondary school, high school, and language schools. It will offer screenings between October 28 and December 12 at the Teatro Salón Cervantes.

The event is free, but reservations must be made before October 11, using the ALCINE Languages ??online form.

ALCINE Youth

As a support for high school curriculum programming, ALCINE Joven will offer secondary and high school students a program of fiction and animation short films at the Teatro Salón Cervantes, from November 11 to 20.
These short films feature both Spanish and European films (in original version) that explore a variety of topics of particular relevance during adolescence.

To participate in this free activity, reservations must be made before October 11 through the ALCINE Joven online form.

ALCINE Kids

The section dedicated to the littlest ones will return to the Teatro Salón Cervantes from November 12 to December 10. Short films selected by children, for children: animations from all over the world made using the most diverse film techniques.

As in the previous edition, ALCINE Kids offers schools three types of sessions:

  • 'Kids'. Short films without dialogue for Preschool and lower primary school students, ages 3 to 7.
  • 'Junior'. Slightly more complex short films for upper and lower primary school students, ages 8 to 12.
  • 'Junior Languages'. Children's short films in English, for students ages 8 to 12.

Schools must submit their requests through the ALCINE Kids online form before October 11.

Due to limited places, early reservations are recommended. In addition to the sessions aimed at educational centers, ALCINE will include other film-related workshops for children in its program, which will soon be available on the ALCINE website.
