Ingrid Heiderscheidt

Ingrid Heiderscheidt is a Belgian actress and director, born on May 5, 1973, in Huy, Belgium. She studied History at the University of Liège (1996) and Dramatic Arts at the Royal Conservatory of Liège (1998).

Throughout her career, she has worked in theater, film, and television, appearing in productions such as Calamity (2016), Osez la Macédoine (2014), and Putain Lapin (2009), earning awards for her performances.

In 2018, Heiderscheidt made her directorial debut with the short film La meilleure manière de…, produced by Cinapse. Her second short film, Amour à Mort (Love to Death), premiered in 2024. The 26-minute film, which she also stars in, tells the story of Claudine, a 45-year-old woman desperately seeking love while working as a master of ceremonies at a crematorium and as a majorette. It was selected for festivals such as the Brussels Short Film Festival 2024.

In addition to acting and directing, Heiderscheidt is the singer of the band Monique Sonique and has directed music videos for the group, including La dictature du projet (2022). She currently resides in Brussels and is represented by the Marie-Claude Schwartz agency.
