(1991) She graduated in 2015 as a director and screenwriter from the Utrecht Art School. That same year, she won the Burny Bos Talent Award at the Cinekid Festival with her science fiction feature idea SpaceKees. In 2019, she wrote and directed her short film “Short Calf Muscle,” which has been presented at over 150 festivals, including Oscar-qualifying festivals in Leuven, St. Louis, Winterthur, Gijon, Foyle, and Aesthetica, among others. “Short Calf Muscle” has received over 50 international awards. In 2021, her short film “Snorrie” (Mustachio) premiered at the Oscar-qualifying LA Shorts festival and has also been shown at over 150 festivals. The short film has also received over 50 international awards.
