Jelson and Ipe, two deeply in-love students, face tests of mind and body as they prepare to survive in a world devastated by climate change. Though life may be harsh and unforgiving, they believe their teacher’s words: that a strong heart and mind can prevail with an iron will. But Jelson and Ipe soon learn that perhaps the best way to survive the end of the world is simply to live, laugh, and love.
Whammy Alcazaren is a multi-awarded director and production designer. He is a graduate of the University of the Philippines Film Institute, a participant of the 2013 13 Little Pictures Film lab in Singapore, the 2016 Festival Belluard Bollwek Watch and talk Residency in Switzerland, and Berlinale Talents 2024.His first short film, BOLD EAGLE, won Best International Short at the Fantasia Film Festival 2023. It screened at the New York Film Festival 2023 and Sundance Film Festival 2024. He is currently in development of his 4th feature film, ‘Noodles, Our Love was Instant and Forever’.He likes cats.
