Olivia, her younger brother Tim, and their mother Ingrid are kicked out of their home and must start over in a new neighborhood. While Ingrid juggles ways to manage their situation, Olivia creates a protective fantasy for herself and her brother: everything they are experiencing isn’t real—they’re filming a movie. But this invention leads to unexpected consequences. Fortunately, a new and quirky family forms around them, and together they embark on whimsical adventures. Amid laughter, tears, magic, and friendship, they discover that they are the extraordinary everyday heroes of their own lives.
Irene is scriptwriter, director and stop-motion animator. Eduardo is industrial designer and stop-motion animator. They both funded Citoplasmas, an independent stop-motion animation production company. In 2004, they directed Citoplasmas en medio acido, selected in Annecy Film Festival.
