André Silva Santos (b. 1990, São João da Madeira, Portugal) lives and works in Lisbon. He holds a degree in Communication Sciences - Cinema, from NOVA University Lisbon, where he also completed his master's in Aesthetics and Artistic Studies - Cinema and Photography. Currently, he is a PhD student in Artistic Studies - Art and Mediations at the same institution. Additionally, he earned a postgraduate degree in Cinema - Dramaturgy and Directing, from The Lisbon Theatre and Film School. He works in film as a script supervisor, assistant director and script consultant. "Sol Menor" is his debut short film as a director.
