Guil Sela is a young artist born in 1996, and resident of France since childhood. He now dedicates himself wholeheartedly to his pursuits as a writer-director and photographer. His debut film, “La Flamme Olympique,” earned selections at the WIP of the Cannes Film Festival, Cinema Jove, Edinburgh, and more. In 2023, he embarked on the filming of “Santa Maria Kyoko” and “Montsouris Park,” a drama and a comedy, or perhaps the other way around. Simultaneously, he is engaged in craxing a new short film and his inaugural feature-length work—both projects aim to continue his exploration, infused with humor and melancholy, into the irony that underlies our tragic daily lives.
