Aisling Byrne is an Irish director, screenwriter, and artistic facilitator, and the founder and artistic director of Run of the Mill in Celbridge, Co. Kildare. She has directed and co-created theater and film projects such as Linda, George and Gillian, Real Life, and the short film Turnaround, which was selected for the Oscars and won at the Galway Film Fleadh. Other notable shorts include Headspace (Grand Prize at Cork) and Misread (Best Short at Catalyst Film Festival 2023). Byrne participates in development programs such as Screen Ireland’s Spotlight Scheme and Xpollinator’s CREATOR residency, and is currently developing her first television series with MK1.
