Maria is 30 years old, she has an intellectual disability and a desire deep inside, she wants to be a mother. The lack of understanding towards her desire will lead her to a fight for her rights, to an uncomfortable rebellion to recover the decision-making power over her own body.
Clàudia Cedó (Tortosa, 1983) is a playwright, screenwriter, and theater and film director. A graduate in Psychology and Dramatic Arts, 15 years ago she founded Escenaris Especials, a project dedicated to creating theater with actors and actresses with disabilities. Her works have premiered in the most important theaters in Spain and in countries such as Portugal, Poland, France, Argentina, and the Czech Republic, and have been published and translated into several languages. She is currently working on several theater projects and has just completed post-production on her first short film, DE SUCRE, and is currently developing her first feature film, MARE DE SUCRE.
