María Herrera (Madrid, 1993) has a double degree in Journalism and Audiovisual Communication with complementary training in Political Sciences at the Carlos III University of Madrid. In 2016, he joined the Avalon team, where he worked for more than five years. She has been production coordinator on projects such as “Notes for a Heist Movie,” by León Siminiani, “The Days That Will Come,” by Carlos Marqués-Marcet, and “My Mexican Bretzel,” by Nuria Giménez. She has worked as development director on “Libertad”, by Clara Roquet; in “What we did wrong” by Liliana Torres; in “The Red Virgin”, Paula Ortiz's next project; and in “La medio de Ana”, Marta Nieto's debut film, as well as in “Alcarrás” by Carla Simón, and in “Romería”, her third feature film.
