With the sea and the urban Algarve as a background, we follow a complete cycle of the life of a special shellfish called "Percebes" (goose barnacle). From their formation, to the dish, in this journey, we cross different contexts that allow us to better understand this region and those who live there.
Laura Gonçalves born on the 13 of april of 1988 in Portugal.She is a director and writer, known for Água Mole (2017), O Homem do Lixo (2022) and Percebes (2024). “What remains constant and mostly defines my work as a Director, is the mixture between these two opposite worlds: "Reality" and "Fantasy". From one side real stories told through actual interviews and the other, the infinite possibilities of animation, where the only limit is our imagination.”
Alexandra Ramires born on 1987 in Portugal. She is director and a writer, Known for Água Mole (2017), Elo (2020) and Percebes (2024).
