ANNIKA Mayer studied film editing in Berlin and holds a PhD in social anthropology. In 2019, she co-founded Majmun Films and in order to develop documentaries. She is the producer and (co)editor of LA ESPERA, PRIMER PAQUETE PARA HONDURAS and LO QUE QUEDA EN EL CAMINO, which have been screened at international festivals and won several awards.
She is currently producing and editing the documentaries MAOMI, CARAVANERAS and THE GODS MUST BE MISTAKEN.
