Mikel Alvariño
Mikel Alvariño was born in 1975 in Bilbao. He is writer and director, and was awarded among others in the SitgesFantastic Film Festival and the Fantastic Fest in Austin, Texas for 'The Birthday'. His first short film, 'Circulating Currents', was awarded in nearly 30 national and international film festivals. 'Tuning Oscar', his latest shortfilm, premiered and won the Best Short Film Award in the Official Competition in the Sitges Fantastic Film Festival 2014.
