"On and on” says Clara Duvigneau, an activist with the climate justice movement Fridays For Future. She thus speaks for an entire generation that resists the crushing facts of the climate crisis and regularly demonstrates, organises and protests. Clara demands that the climate crisis be understood for what it is. The lack of change in politics and economics, which at the same time would be urgently needed, makes it clear that the extent of this crisis does not seem to be sufficiently understood by many decision-makers.
This documentary portrays the everyday life of a young woman to show what it means to stand upfor a cause and to stand up for it with full conviction. It is about time management, commitment and moments when one would prefer to give up. It is about questions like "Is it even worth it? Is what we are doing enough? Are we still being heard after more than 3 years of Fridays for Future?" It's about community, about climate anxiety that has to find a place alongside everyday concerns, and the firm conviction not to give up hope despite everything.
