Carmen was born in 1935. As a child, she watched how they took members of her family away. After 14 years as a cloistered nun, she managed to get expelled from it. A Spanish filmmaker, he has been making documentaries since 2007 in countries such as Spain, Holland, France, India, Indonesia, Cuba and the USA. In recent years he has taught film classes in New York, directed documentaries in Spain, worked as a journalist in Africa or as an expert for the European Commission, and produced documentary series for online platforms.
Guillermo holds a degree in Law from the Complutense University of Madrid and the Sorbonne University of Paris. He has received the Ruy de Clavijo Scholarship from Casa Asia and the La Caixa Foundation Scholarship. He also holds an MA in Social Documentary from the School of Visual Arts in New York, and is a fellow of the IDFAcademy. Some of his films have been selected for international festivals and broadcast by major television networks.
