On board a ferry, a series of passengers cross a river from one riverbank to the other. Some of the travelers wrap themselves in silence and observe the unfamiliar fellow travelers or contemplate the scenery. Some others chat, perhaps to liven up the voyage and speed up time.
A graduate of EICTV (Cuba), he alternates the direction of his personal projects with the screenwriting and editing of other films. Among his works, which explore the aesthetics and poetics of landscape, El mar nos mira de lejos, his debut feature, premiered at the Berlinale, stands out. His filmography in the field of editing and screenwriting includes titles such as Dead Slow Ahead, Blanco en blanco or Eles transportan a morte.
