In 1991, Rate, a man from Orihuela, buys a camera for the first time and starts recording his surroundings. For three months, he relentlessly looks for a real story that hasn't been filmed before. Rate will find out about life's drama through his wild eye.
Paco Nicolás grew up in Murcia, the city where he started his interest in the audiovisual world and where he begin to study Communication. At age 20 he moved to Madrid and was accepted at the School of Cinematography and Audiovisual of Madrid (ECAM) where he graduated with a major in Documentary Film. The Rate's Cut (Ojo Salvaje) is his first short film with a worldwide distribution. Currently, he combines his shorts with his work in L3TCRAFT Desarrollos Audiovisuales, with whom he has directed commercials for brands such as FOX, Warner or Microsoft.
