Registrations are now open for ALCALÁ Film Jam, the ultra-short film marathon of the Alcalá de Henares / Community of Madrid Film Festival, which will present awards in two categories and an audience prize. The finalist shorts will be screened at the Teatro Salón Cervantes in Alcalá de Henares on November 14, and the winners will be shown at the Closing Gala of ALCINE53.
For the second year, Alcalá de Henares will become a film set with ALCALÁ Film Jam, the short film marathon shot in the city in 72 hours. Registration is now open for ALCINE53’s most intense and fun section, which will offer three prizes of €300: for the winners in the Horizontal and Vertical categories and the Audience Award winner.
From Spartacus to My Dearest Señorita or Take My Eyes, Alcalá de Henares has been a film location for decades and continues to be, through the Alcalá Film Office of the Department of Tourism, the organizers of ALCINE Film Jam. The participating works must also be filmed in Alcalá de Henares between November 8 and 11 and must include the key words that will be communicated to the participants at the initial session (Friday, November 8, at 6:00 PM, at Santa María La Rica).
The finalist shorts, up to a maximum of 10 per category, will be screened at the Teatro Salón Cervantes on Thursday, November 14. The winners will be announced at the ALCINE53 Closing Gala, where their films will also be screened.
Registrations can be made now until 6:00 PM on Wednesday, November 6, via the online form.
