Pablo, ‘el Meca’, ‘el Sebas’, and Ángela are four boys who want to escape from the marginal environment in which they live. To do so, they need to get money, although they are not willing to work for years to be able to save it. They only think about getting it quickly and living fast.
Carlos Saura Atarés (Huesca; January 4, 1932-Collado Mediano, Madrid; February 10, 2023) was a renowned Spanish filmmaker, photographer and writer. His career spans more than half a century and he is considered along with Luis Buñuel, Luis García Berlanga, José Luis Borau, Pedro Almodóvar and Fernando Trueba as one of the greats of Spanish cinema.
