Can oral history restore a forgotten part of our past? In 1969, seventeen-year-old Mariona was arrested and imprisoned in a reformatory ruled by the Women's Welfare Agency. In 2023, Mariona and her daughter look back to piece together her story.
She is a screenwriter and director, graduated in Audiovisual Communication from the UPF. He has co-written and co-directed the short films Perpetua happiness, nominated for the Goya, and Els buits, as well as the television program Follo Ergo Sum for Betevé. She is also co-creator of the research project La Calumnia, around LGTBIQ+ genealogies in cinema. He is currently preparing Los andares, his new short film, selected by Acció Curts de Dones Visuals and by the Semilleru Lab of Gijón.
She is a graduate in Audiovisual Communication from the UPF, a director and editor specialized in documentary film. Her creations are closely linked to Barcelona's social and feminist movements. He worked at the Metromuster cooperative, with which he promoted documentaries such as Tarajal: Desmuntant la impunitat a la frontier sud or Idrissa: chrònica d’una mort qualsevol. She is co-creator of the Betevé program Follo Ergo Sum.
