Guillermo García López began studying Architecture, but very soon he reoriented his training towards the audiovisual world: it was a field that had always attracted him and that he had experienced at home through his father, who had worked at TVE all his life making documentaries. His first feature film, Fragile equilibrium (2016), which was awarded the Goya for Best Documentary Film, among other national and international recognitions, already showed a very personal way of scrutinizing the world and the insides of human beings. In 2017 he created, wrote and co-directed the series Atlánticas, premiered on TVE and composed of three films located between documentary and fiction: Deshielo, Immersión and Oscilación.
