Néstor López is a film and advertising director, screenwriter and producer. Founder and CEO of the Film and Audiovisual Production Company Filmakers Monkeys. At age 17 he began writing Stand Up Comedy scripts and at age 19 he began writing scripts for Paramount Comedy. He was Director of Communication at La Factoría del Guión and professor of Screenwriting at UNIR. He has worked on several feature films and projects such as 1st Director such as “El Atasco” with Belén Rueda, “Vida en Marte” with Luis Callejo and Marina Salas, or “May the end of the world catch you dancing” with Fernando Tejero and Fernando Colomo. To create his own projects he founded the Film and Advertising company Filmakers Monkeys. In just 3 years they have produced and directed projects and campaigns for brands such as Sony, Coca-Cola, Netflix, Telepizza, or Banco Santander, among others.
Graduate in Fine Arts from the University of Castilla La Mancha. He has recently been a student of the Executive Production of Animated Series and Feature Films course, taught by Paco Rodríguez, producer who has won 4 Goya Awards.In 2016, Carlos produced his brother Roberto's first short film, 'Segundito'. In 2020 he will premiere his new production, the short film “Nacer” and begins production of his new documentary piece “Semillas de Kivu”
