Fran has a degree in Media of the Universidad Pontificia de Salamanca. He studied also several courses with Rubens W. Correa such as Actor Direction and Dramaturgy and a doctorate in Cinema's History in the Universidad Autónoma of Madrid. He started his career as a screenwriter. He wrote several award-winning documentaries and short films. 'El rayo' is his first feature film.
Manuel Burque
Manuel has a degree in Media and he studied Scenography in RESAD. He studied also several courses with ubens W. Correa and an advanced screenplay course in the Cinema Intestitute of Madrid. His profesional carrear made him explore screenplay area and theatre.
Fran Araujo and Manuel Burque have worked as writers and directors on several short films, including ‘Quid Pro Quo’ Script Prix de la Ville de Avilés. Currently they write the feature film ‘Perdona si te llamo amor’ of Tele5 and directed by Fernando Colomo, and the screenplay for their film ‘NewLife: Bautismo’ to Altube Filmeak and Allmura Films.
