At the beginning of the 20th century, a series of Gnostic spells perpetrated in India fell on the figure of a Spanish priest, thus ending his honor and his life and cursing forever his descendants. Harassed by this curse, his great-grandfather will also be forced to flee from the town to the capital and thence to a cathedral submerged in the depths of the ocean. Black magicians, delinquents, insects, archons and even Satan himself will be some of the sinister characters who must face to succeed in their evangelizing adventure.

Velasco Broca

Amurrio, Álava, 1978. Forged as a comic scriptwriter in fanzines, at the age of 19 he made his first short film in Super-8, Footsy, which was well received at national festivals and in the underground circuit. This experience opened the doors to other more ambitious projects such as the 16 mm short film. Kinky Hoodoo Voodoo, which tells the story of an alien invasion of a summer camp. The short film won several awards and was screened at festivals such as the Sitges Fantastic Film Festival, the Horror and Fantastic Film Week in San Sebastian and Marienbad. At the age of 22 he made the short film Der Milchshorf [The Milky Crust], which was also generously received in the same circuits. Retrospectives of his complete work have been held on several occasions, including at the Filmadrid festival, with the title Our Friend the Moon and Other Stars (2017); at the Palić Film Festival (Serbia) which awarded him the Underground Spirit Award for his outstanding performance in the independent film field (2015) and at La Noche en Blanco in Madrid (2009).
