When Sabaku’s best friend Buffalo passes away, he needs to find himself a new friend. He tries connecting with different species, but soon finds out that isn’t as easy as it seems. Sabaku is in for a bumpy ride, but he won’t rest until he succeeds.
Marlies van der Wel (1984 in Soest) is a Dutch animator and illustrator, working from her studio based in Amsterdam. Started in 2007, working on both commercial as personal projects, she has finished her own short animated movie 'Jonas and the Sea' in 2015.
