It´s a portrait of the director's father facing the end of his family business. Pere Ferrés is 53 years old and owns a small bus company. Lack of money forces him to drive clients who destroy his vehicle to bachelor parties, but he is not prepared to lose his dignity.
Laura Ferrés (Barcelona, 1989). Graduated in film direction from ESCAC (Spain). Her first project, A perro flaco, was selected at 60 festivals around the world such as Seminci 2014 (Spain) and Montreal World Film Festival 2015 (Canada). Her second short film, Los Desheredados, was premiered at La Semaine de la Critique - Cannes 2017 where it won the Leica Cine Discovery Prize for Best Short Film in Competition. It is screened at several festivals and is even premiered on the film circuit. La imatge permanent is her first feature film, presented at the Locarno Festival. She is currently working on her second feature film.
