Two sisters navigating the no man's land between childhood and adulthood have to deal with the consequences of their actions after one of the horses of their farm loses one eye.
'Libertad' is the first feature film for Clara Roquet, co-screenwriter of '10.000KM', for which she and Carlos Marques-Marcet won the Silver Biznaga for Best New Screenwriter and the Gaudí Award for Best Screenplay. She has also collaborated as a screenwriter with Jaime Rosales on his latest feature film, 'Petra'. Her first project as a director was the short film 'El Adiós' (2015), winner of the Golden Spike at the SEMINCI, nominated for the European Film Awards, premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival and winner of the Gaudí Award for Best Short Film in 2016. His second short film 'Les Bones Nenes' (2017) received the 'Movistar + proyecto en corto' award and won the Special Mention for Best Ibero-American Short Film at the Guadalajara International Film Festival (Mexico), among others.
