A teenager, finds the bodies of three drowned kids on the shore of a lagoon. Three kids, are playing around a lake when they find a drowned young woman drifting in the water. Games, lies and rituals unfolding into a circular time in which death loses its ultimacy. What is real? What is a mirage?



Luz Olivares Capelle

Born in Rufino, Argentina. She studied Film Directing at the National Institute for cinematographic production and experimentation in Buenos Aires, E.N.E.R.C. After moving to Austria she continued her studies in Film at the University of Music and Performing Arts - Film Academy Vienna in the film Directing class of Michael Haneke. She graduated recently with her film "Forest of Echoes" which won the Award for the Best narrative short film at Diagonale and at Vienna Independet Shorts, as well as the Thomas Pluch Screenplay Award. Her films have been screened in several art galleries, museums and film festivals as the International Film Festival Rotterdam, the Viennale, the Short Film Corner Cannes, the Museum of the Moving Image, M.A.L.B.A., among others. Currently she is finishing her studies of Fine Art with Prof. Gunter Damisch, in the masterclass for drawing and graphics at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna and she is writing her first feature film.
