If a dictator is his own imagery and the dictatorship is the whole of images about it, those images should be destroyed to be able to construct our own future’s imagery.
Luis E. Parés (Madrid, 1982). Film Historian. Author of the book 'Notes sur l'emigration-Espagne 1960. Apunts per a una pel·licula invisible' and he has coordinated the book to Filmar el exilio desde Francia. He has also translated two books from portuguese, Navío de espejos by Mario Cesariny and Los caníbales, by Álvaro do Carvalhal. He has been a programmer in different festivals, like ZINEBI (Bilbao), Punto de Vista (Pamplona), Cine-Europes (Barcelona) or (S() (Coruña) or for institutions like Hamaca (Barcelona) and Instituto Cervantes. He has realized several short films, like “El absurdo” or “Bolero para Maite” and he has been an assistant to director of Carlos García-Alix in “El honor de las injurias”. At present he collaborates with the Department of Programming of Filmoteca española and writes his doctoral theses Cartografía y análisis del cine español realizado en el exilio en Francia (1969-1977), at Universidad Complutense.
