María Cañas, an audiovisual cannibal and iconoclast. She practices a sort of 'videomachy' (militant cinephagia) that penetrates clichés and genres to destroy them from within. She directs Animalario TV Producciones a creative space devoted to the culture of recycling, appropriationism and experimentation. Her work is a resistance to distraction pursuing personal growth and the cultivation of inner fire.
