The character you play moves in two registers, with that secret to be revealed.
I am very happy working with Daniel Sánchez Arévalo. He knows how to get the best out of me. He often writes characters with rather outlandish personal conflicts, and in 'Traumalogía' he wanted me to make the most of it.

You appear in many frames with your fictional brother, Javier Pereira.
I would like to say that although the most colourful role was mine, the award could have gone to any of us. My favourite in the short film is Quim Gutiérrez. But they have given it to me, probably because of the comic qualities of the monologue written by Dani.

'Traumalogía' has won four awards. Were you aware of its possibilities during shooting?
That really is a big thrill. Personally I totally trust Dani. It's as if he had a magic wand that with the slightest touch turns everything magical. The script, the direction and the way the shoot was handled, very relaxed, just like a family, made me sure the short film would be amazing.

At nearly 28 years old it seems you are enjoying a great moment in your career.
Yes I couldn't be happier. Over the last two and a half years I have had a great deal of luck and been able to work with some fantastic directors playing roles I only used to dream about. It's been like taking a master in acting. I am now preparing myself for a possible slack period after this run of luck. You have to have a bit of foresight.
