The Spanish branch of an American company has to put a ban on smoking in the office into effect. Ramírez, one of the employees decides to collect signatures to get permission to transform an unused room into a 'smoking room', but he comes up against the opposition of his colleagues who are worried about losing their jobs.

Julio Daniel was born in Argentina in 1969. He studied Advertising to work later as a journalist. In 1991, he arrived in Spain where he started collaborating with several advertising agencies in Madrid and in Barcelona, achieving an international reputation thanks to the awards he received for some of his works. In 1999, he co-founded El Sindicato being executive and creative director of this company which produces advertisement but also personal projects such as music, cinema and Internet. His first feature film 'Smoking Room' (2002), has been co-directed with Roger Gual. In 2005, he directed the short film 'Disonancia'. His future project will be called 'La silla' (2006).
