On 20th of December, 1989, a few days after Ceausescu's bloody repression in Timisoara, a father’s quiet evening turns to sheer ordeal as he finds out that his little son has mailed a wish letter to Santa. As the kid understood, his father’s desire was to see Ceausescu dead.
Bogdan Mureșanu studied Political Science at the University of Bucharest and Film at the London Academy of Film. He worked as a financial reporter before beginning a successful, award-winning career as an advertising art director and copywriter. He turned to screenwriting in 2008 when he won the HBO Tiff Scriptwriting Competition for the short script 'The Human Torch'.
