He created the production company El Lápiz de la Factoría, with which he produced all his short films. The culmination of this stage focused on short films came with 'Caracol, col, col, col', directed by Pablo Llorens and produced by him, for which he won the Goya Award for best animated short film. In 1999 he directed his first feature film: 'Mamá es boba' (1999), a drama that deals with the bullying of a minor at school. He created the workshop Lana S.A., dedicated to the design and manufacture of scenographies and models for cinema, theatre and television. In 2007 he went back behind the camera to direct his second and last film: 'Un buen día lo tiene cualquiera', a comedy centred on the impossibility of finding a home, after which he distanced himself from cinema and devoted himself to writing. Since 2012 he has been living in a hamlet of Segovia with 23 inhabitants.
