On a remote coast of the Siberian Arctic in a wind-battered hut, a lonely man waits to witness an ancient gathering. But warming seas and rising temperatures bring an unexpected change, and he soon finds himself overwhelmed.
Maxim Arbugaev was born in 1991 in Tiksi/Yakutia. Being a professional ice hockey player for fifteen years before discovering his passion for filmmaking, he graduated in 2018 from the Gerasimov Institute of Cinematography in Moscow. Since then he had been working on films connected to sport and the Arctic.
