Damián, a dowser by profession, must urgently locate an underground water source if he is to put food on his family’s table. Water is underground, and so is his daughter, buried. "The Good Father" is a dance of life and death, of ghosts and presences.
Jorge is a Spanish filmmaker based in London. His Vfx experience has led him to work with directors such as Jonathan Glazer, the Wachovski sisters, Terrence Malick and Shane Meadows. During the last two years, Jorge has been trying to find his own language, and El padre Bueno is his first attempt as a writer and director. In parallel, he has been working with Ari Aster, producing a sequence of his latest film, Disappointment Blvd.
