An intimate late-African portrait of Danish colonist Karen Blixen. And especially of her particular relationship with her Somali servant Farah Aden. A strange friendship in which differences that seem insurmountable are diluted before an ancestral understanding.

María Pérez Sanz

Filmmaker trained at the ECAM. She began her film career at a very young age, writing and directing short films. Among them, Robin & Robin, presented in Berlin and Cannes. Her debut feature, the documentary Malpartida Fluxus Village, won important awards, and with Karen he won the D'A's Un Impulso Colectivo award.
