From Regina’s personal and visual memories, a tribute to her uncle Thomas, a humble man with a simple and anonymous life. This is my acknowledgment how one does not have to be 'somebody' to become exceptional in our life.
Regina (Coimbra, 1969) is graduated at the Oporto University of Fine Arts. In 1992, she began working in Filmógrafo, where she collaborated as an animator. In 1999, she animated and directed her first author film 'A Noite', engraving in plaster plates and in 2005, she animated and directed 'Tragic Story with Happy Ending'. Her films obtained a vast recognition, winning countless awards and becoming inescapable references. In 2016 she became Senior Lecturer at Filmakademie in Germany and in 2018 a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.
