Matthieu Ruyssen was born in January 1987 in the south of France. He grew up in the Auvergne and in the Parisian suburbs. After Japanese students, he became a television viewing editor there. Make the decision to write and direct when you realize that life is too short. 'Whales Can't Swim' is his first short film, produced by Wrong Films, and he is developing his second short film, Super Soleil. Matthew lived with his wife and their dog Zola in Paris, but hopes to leave one day.
