Shortlatino

Shortlatino was held for the first time in 2009. Its mission is to become the most important bridge between Spanish and Portuguese language short films and European short films.

MEETING POINT: in addition to the rooms set up especially for the panels, debates and viewing of films, an area will also be provided to encourage informal meetings.

PANELS: Professional meetings open to debate in the field of European and Latin American short film.

SHORTLAB: Presentations will be made of new initiatives concerning the commercialization, distribution and promotion of short films.

VIDEO LIBRARY: 1500 Short films will be available in 15 viewing booths.

SHORTLATINO CATALOGUE: the catalogue of the market includes filing cards, synopses and contact information for each short film.

WHO IS WHO: so everyone invited to the market can be easily located. Industry and market training will be given pride of place, in order to provide practical keys to the commercialization and dissemination of short films. Everything concentrated in a single space, close to the screening rooms of ALCINE, with wifi and areas for meetings, work or just taking it easy.

ATTENDEES: European and Latin American buyers, distributors, sales agents, film festivals, official bodies, directors and producers.
