During her summer holidays, twelve year-old Anna volunteers to collect trash along the seashores of northern Norway. She falls for five years older Aaron, the handsome group leader, and she is confronted with physical attraction and intense jealousy, feelings she hasn’t felt before – a budding sexuality.
Marianne O. Ulrichsen (1968) has been working freelance in feature films, shorts, commercials and commissioned films since 1992. Since then she has directed several short films. Ulrichsen is educated at the Nordland College of Art and Film, the Academy of Theatre in Oslo and graduated as a director from the National Film and Television School in England in 2001.
