A young woman comes to a remote island to get away from it all, taking refuge at a modern studio utopia. Her stay is jarringly interrupted by an acoustic installation artist. Tension between the contrasting personalities rises as differing lifestyles and expectations clash.
Elsa María Jakobsdóttir is an Icelandic film director and screenwriter and a graduate from The National Film School of Denmark in 2017. She worked for the Icelandic National Broadcasting Service from 2003 to 2010 and has an extensive background in Television and Journalism. She holds a BA degree in Sociology from the University of Iceland and studied Cultural Analysis at the University of Kopenhagen.
