ALCINE RECIEVES THE AIC CERTIFICATION OF QUALITY

AIC - Asociación de la Industria del Cortometraje, finished publising their list of shortfilm festivals with the AIC quality certification for 2016, and ALCINE, Film Festival from Alcalá de Henares and the Greater Madrid Community, was one of the recipients of this certification.

The AIC Certificate of Quality for shortfilm festivals is, in the association's own words, "an annual distinction to differenciate and reward festivals that are exemplary in their outreach, protection, and professionalism when it comes to film and its industry, especially in shortfilm".

AIC put into practice this certification of quality with the objective of educating new generations of moviegoers and protecting model festivals. To do this, it thought of a series of requirements that festivals must complete:

1.- THE GRANTED PRIZES ARE DELIVERED.

2.- NOT REQUIRING THE PRESENCE OF SPECIFIC PEOPLE AT THE FESTIVAL.

3.- NOT REQUIRING TRANSFERS ON PARALLEL RIGHTS.

4.- THE FESTIVAL COMUNICATES EVERYTING TO EVERYONE INVOLVED. (TRANSPARENCY)

5.- NO SHOWING OF BAD QUALITY FORMATS OR COPIES.

6.- THE FESTIVAL ASSUMES RESPONSIBILITY FOR MATERIALS.

7.- THE NON-COMPETATIVE SECTIONS ARE CONSIDERED EXHIBITIONS
