User t38 shows us the postproduction of El Ministerio del Tiempo

The Alcine Forum is here again with a varied offering of different takes on short film and new technologies. And the latter includes audiovisual production, which is advancing in leaps and bounds thanks to fictional series. David Heras and Charly Puchol from User t38 are here to explain the least well-known (and probably most fascinating) side of the series El Ministerio del tiempo. They will both talk about their experiences working on the series and the contribution made by User t38 as regards postproduction and design. Work on this Spanish series constitutes one of their most recent and successful commissions, and part of a career encompassing wide-ranging national and international productions with celebrated filmmakers such as Amenábar, del Toro, Jarmusch, Forman, Soderberg, etc.

User t38 was set up as a production company and studio for postproduction, graphic design, traditional animation, 3D and conceptual design. From the beginning it has focussed on the research and development of state-of-the-art and unusual techniques in the film and advertising industry.

Its work on production design and postproduction for cinema can be found in successful films such as El Laberinto del Fauno, Ágora, Alatriste, Intruders, Mamá, Mindscape, Open Windows, Autómata, El Club de los Incomprendidos and Torrente 5, for the Spanish market, and Non Stop and Run All Night for the international market.

This activity is free, but there are limited places. Don’t miss it! Friday the 6th of November at 11:30 h. in the events hall of Santa María la Rica, 3.
