At ALCINE, audiences watch, participate and have their say. Every competitive section has its very own audience jury. And for the first time this year, we decided to provide the same opportunity to our kids’ audiences. To join the jury, you just have to be over the age of six and send us your drawing of the Gruffalo to the mail kids@alcine.org or bring it to our offices. We will select the most attractive from all those received for an exhibition during the festival. And their authors will participate as members of this very special jury. They will then be able to vote for their favourite films in ALCINE KIDS, and experience an award ceremony first hand.
So who is the Gruffalo you might ask. You can meet him personally during the festival, in his films and storybooks. You will see him soon in the bookshops and are sure to adore one of the characters most loved by young European readers. For now, here is a video to whet your appetite and inspire you.
